Cake:
Ingredients
• 1 cup unsalted butter
• 4 large eggs
• 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
• 2 tablespoons lemon zest
• 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup milk
Lemon Glaze:
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 2–3 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a loaf pan.
2. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time. Mix in lemon juice and zest.
3. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to wet mixture alternately with milk.
4. Pour into pan and bake 55–65 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
5. Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice for glaze. Drizzle over cooled cake.
